Peter Euteneuer was a good friend and the four of us -- Ron Olson, Steve Zampella and myself -- stayed in touch.  He was in our wedding parties, we went to the prom together, and although he didn't enlist in the U.S. Coast Guard with us, he did come down to "boot camp" to visit us.  Through the years we stayed in touch with phone calls and e-mails and even visited with one another.  He came down to Florida with a friend and Kathy and I took them out for dinner.  When I was promoting a fight in California we visited at his lovely home in San Francisco and went out to dinner.

Peter was a very successful businessman.  First as an executive at Xerox and then as a commercial realator who had many commercial properties.  He was also a "fun-loving" guy who was always looking for some excitement.  He loved speed, nice cars and motorcycles.  He once took a cross-country trip and also toured Europe on his motorcycle, which he keeps as shiny as new on display at his home.  He went to the Ferrari plant in Italy and ordered his red Ferrari, which was delivered in the fall.

Peter was a "free-spirit" who enjoyed being with friends.  He was a great friend who looked forward to all of the reunions.  He told his friends in California how much fun he had at these events.  Ronnie & Jeanette Olson, who may be moving to California to be closer to one of their daughters, were looking forward to spending time together with Peter in California.

We're all deeply saddened by his untimely and sudden death.  He was a wonderful and loyal friend and he will be missed greatly.
